Made in Adelaide Screen Scene

  • Event

The Made in Adelaide screening program invites you to meet South Australia on the big screen with a showcase of award-winning films screening daily at the Cameo Cinema from 10-13 August.

The program transports audiences to the majestic coastal Coorong with Storm Boy (1976), celebrates recent destined-to-be-cult film, Windmill Theatre’s Girl Asleep, explores coming-of-age and coming to terms with a parent’s gender transition in 52 Tuesdays and delivers chills with thriller The Babadook.

A celebration of recent festival favourites commissioned by the South Australian Film Corporation, the Made in Adelaide screening program is a snapshot of the creative talent that has contributed to Adelaide’s outstanding reputation as Australia’s home of independent cinema.
